Raising Training Concerns

The Wales Deanery’s Quality Management Framework is based upon a comprehensive evidence base. However, we recognise that there are occasions where an individual or group may wish to draw our attention to a particular issue and this may be done through any of the following routes:

Local Faculty Leads

Local Faculty Leads are the Wales Deanery’s representatives based within sites across NHS Wales. Given their local connection they are well place to respond to concerns at a local level and work in partnership with the Wales Deanery. Click here to find out how to make contact with the relevant Local Faculty Lead.

Training Programme Structures

There are a range of people within training programmes who you can raise concerns with. These include, Educational Supervisors, College Tutors, Foundation Programme Directors, Training Programme Directors or the relevant Head of School/Associate Dean.

Quality & Postgraduate Education Support Unit

You can raise a concern directly with the Wales Deanery’s Quality and Postgraduate Education Support Unit via email or telephone 03300 584 210. In order to assist the Unit in considering your concern, please provide as much information as possible and, where appropriate, specify the location, specialty and training grade relevant to the concern raised.
